Arthur B. Silver, D.D.S.

Dr. Silver is a native of Atlanta. He graduated from Emory University Dental School, where he also earned his Master of Orthodontics degree. He has been in private orthodontic practice for over 30 years and has successfully treated over 9000 patients. He is proud to have treated many patients within the Atlanta and Snellville areas.

Dr. Silver has given numerous presentations and lectures on orthodontics. He has published articles in American Journal of Physiology and the Physiologist. He is a member of numerous dental and orthodontic societies, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Georgia Society of Orthodontics, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society. He has logged over 2000 hours of continuing education, and makes it a priority to keep up with the latest orthodontic techniques.

Dr. Silver is married and is the proud father of three adult sons. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

David C. Schaefer, D.M.D.

A Georgia native, Dr. Schaefer is enthusiastic about returning to his home state. He was born and raised in North Georgia and joined the Army following high school. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Biology at Young Harris College and the University of Georgia. He then continued on to dental school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. From there, he entered the Army for a second time as an Army Dental Corps officer completing one year general dentistry residency program at Fort Carson, Colorado. He was selected to the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He later returned to Fort Carson where he served as Professor, Chief of Orthodontics for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program.

He received his board certification in orthodontics in April of 2005 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. He has been in private practice for a number of years, practicing orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics in Woodland park, CO.

Apart from his wonderful credentials, Dr. Schaefer is an incredible person. We are certain our patients will love him. Our plan is for Dr. Silver to be in practice for many years with Dr. Schaefer and will be here for his patients. Having Dr. Schaefer on board will assure continuity of treatment and records for our patients into the future.
